Throughout the years the natatorium has had the opportunity for many uses. The Hubbard Community Pool is home to programs like American Red Cross Learn to Swim, Lifeguarding, Water Safety Programs, AAU and USS competitive swimming just to name a few.
In December of 2003, for the first time since 1975, the doors to the natatorium closed. Due to many factors, there needed to be major renovations in order for the doors to reopen. With the help of the community and the school's administration those renovations were able to become a reality. After about a year and a half, the doors were reopened for business in May of 2005.
As time has passed, the Hubbard Community Pool has tried to stay on the cutting edge of aquatic programming. Now as we begin the 21st century, we are moving in the direction to help motivate and provide a comfortable atmosphere where everyone can feel welcome and excited to swim, workout or just spend quality time with friends or family.
Currently the Hubbard Community Pool offers a variety of aquatic programming to fit everyone's needs. We still offer all of our American Red Cross courses, competitive swimming and community swims. Some of our new and improved programs are water aerobics, arthritis exercise, Silver Sneakers, and Yoga. To stay on the cutting edge we have also brought new classes such as Zumba and Silver Splash.
